CLT Access Points
Thanks so much for your interest in the Chief Ladiga Trail. It's a great stretch of uninterrupted pavement that runs about 30 miles from Anniston to Cleburne County. We now have connected to Georgia's Silver Comet Trail and already riders are going all the way to or from Atlanta! An Alabama-Georgia Stateline Gateway and trail park is also complete.
When you come to visit the CLT you can start your ride at any point. A few of the most accessible places (all safe with good parking) involve the following:
Anniston
Michael Tucker Park (parking, picnic facilities & restrooms). At present, this is the southernmost point.
Weaver
Weaver Municipal Complex and Park (parking and restrooms). Check out the new skateboard park!
Jacksonville (south)
Jacksonville Recreation Center (parking and restrooms).
Jacksonville State Univ.
JSU Information Kiosk and Fountain (parking, map and water fountain)
Jacksonville (north)
Germania Springs Park (parking, picnic facilities and restrooms)
Piedmont (south)
Piedmont Sports Complex (primitive camping by reservation through the city)
Piedmont
Downtown area (parking and shopping)
Piedmont (north)
Eubanks Welcome Center (parking, information, restrooms and live people during most days!)
