Spring Peepers - Psedacris crucifer
They're tiny, but they're LOUD! The music starts around dusk.

The People Who Made It Happen
Due to the support of JSU's Environmental Policy & Information Center (EPIC), the Alabama Forestry Commission (AFC), former State Senator Doug Ghee, the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA), the East Alabama Regional Planning Commission, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM), Foothills Timber Company, Stateline Timber Company, the Dearmanville Division of the Calhoun County Road Department, and the City of Anniston this unique facility was constructed in October of 1994.

Special thanks also goes to EPIC friends Bobby Smith (former AFC employee), Bruce Hutchinson, and Carl Hutchins for their efforts in constructing the Frog Pond's boardwalk and observation tower.
