Driving Directions from the South:
•From Interstate 20 take the Heflin Exit north on Alabama Highway 9
•Left on AL 9 & AL 78 toward Oxford for 4.4 miles
•Right on AL 9 North at the Pak-A-Sak toward Piedmont for 5 miles
•Right on Joseph Springs Motorway (dirt road) for 0.3 miles
•First parking area on the left past the Management Area check station

Driving Directions from the North
•From Piedmont travel south on Alabama Highway 9
•4.2 miles past the community of White Plains turn left onto Joseph Springs Motorway
•First parking area on the left past the Management Area check station

From the Parking Area
Follow the trail at the end of the parking area. When you come to a berm across the wide trail, the trail turns left through the trees. A short nature trail that will lead you to a wetland boardwalk and an adjoining 14-foot tall observation tower. Watch the trail carefully and be sure to turn left each time the trail forks.
