The offices for JSU Field
Schools are located in Martin Hall on the JSU campus at the corner
of North Pelham Road (Highway 21) and Bennett Boulevard (Highway 204),
next to Houston Cole Library (the tallest building on campus). Suite
246 is near the north end of the second floor. For a map of the JSU

| JSU Planetarium |
The JSU planetarium is located on the
third floor of Martin Hall (see above). Plenty of parking is available
behind the building (accessible from Bennett Boulevard). Martin Hall
is connected to the McGee Science Center by a breezeway between the
two buildings. Martin Hall is the building closest to Pelham Road.

| Frog Pond |
JSU Frog Ponds is located off Alabama
Highway 9 between Heflin and White Plains. For a map and directions,

| Terrapin Creek |
Access to Terrapin Creek is roughly half
way between Centre and Piedmont along Alabama Route 9. Follow AL 9
south from Centre for 9.5 miles. Make a left on to County Road 175.
Or from Piedmont travel north on AL 9 for 6.6 miles, then turn right
on CR 175. Follow CR 175 for 0.4 miles to Terrapin
Outdoor Center (on left). |

| Pink E. Burns Trail Head |
Exit I-20 at US 431, east of Oxford. Go
north 0.3 miles and turn right onto US 78. Go 3.9 miles and turn left
onto AL 9. Go 10.9 miles to CR 55 at the flashing yellow light in
Rabbit Town and turn right. The trailhead is 4.2 miles on Rabbit Town
Road on the left at Pink's old log cabin. |

| Cheif Ladiga Trail |
The Chief Ladiga Trail wanders approximately
33 miles through Calhoun and Cleburne counties, connecting Piedmont,
Jacksonville, Weaver and Anniston. For more information or to print

| McClellan |
The former Fort McClellan is located about
10 miles north of I-20. Take the Oxford/Anniston exit to north 431.
Follow US 431 for 5.6 miles. Stay to the right onto Alabama 21 (McClellan
Boulevard) for 2.4 miles. Turn right on Batzell Gate Road. Click here
